I am a Sheffield-based freelance journalist, writer, and content creator. In the summer of 2025, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a first-class BA (Hons) in English Literature.

A lot of my work focuses on people and how they interact with different facets of culture. This manifests itself through articles on tv/film, politics, music, sport, literature, philosophy, and travel (to name a few). My mission is to share knowledge in accessible ways, especially when writing about the arts, in order to help these sectors thrive in a world that increasingly disparages them. At the heart of my journalistic work is a commitment to authenticity, creativity, and ingenuity in writing about new and exciting ideas.

To give you an idea of how my interests intersect within my work, my final-year dissertation focused on, what I argued to be, the rise of philosophical absurdism in Hollywood cinema since the COVID-19 pandemic. How film, philosophy, and anthropology influence each other is something I find deeply fascinating and wish to explore again in the future.

In my free time, I enjoy writing short-film screenplays, playing my guitar, reading, and spending time with my British Shorthair, Po.
